Counselling in
Skipton & Keighley

For when you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or a little lost in yourself.

You might be overthinking everything, struggling in your relationships, questioning who you are, or simply know that something doesn’t feel right.

You don’t need to have the words for it yet.

I offer warm, down-to-earth counselling for people aged 16+, in Skipton, Keighley and online across the UK.

You might be here because…

It doesn’t have to be a crisis. These are some of the things people recognise in themselves.

  • You can’t seem to switch your mind off.
  • You’ve lost confidence in yourself.
  • You keep finding yourself in the same relationship patterns.
  • Something has changed and you don’t feel quite like yourself anymore.
  • You feel overwhelmed even when everything looks fine from the outside.
  • You feel stuck and aren’t quite sure what needs to change.

If none of these are quite it, that’s all right. You can start with whatever is actually going on.

Rebecca Shore, integrative counsellor and psychotherapist

Rebecca Shore MBACP

Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist

I’m Rebecca. I work with people aged 16 and over who want someone warm and straightforward to talk to.

You don’t have to have everything worked out before you come.

You don’t need a diagnosis, a perfectly defined problem, a list of goals, or to know exactly what you want to say. We can begin with whatever is happening in your life right now. I’ll listen, without judgement. If a gentle question would help us notice something, I’ll offer it — with you, not at you.

I see people for counselling in Skipton and counselling in Keighley. If you’d rather not travel, sessions are also online across the UK. Sessions are £55 for 50 minutes.

Where we meet, reduced fees, and how to start

Integrative counselling, in plain terms

Integrative means I don’t use one fixed method with everyone. I draw on different ways of working — including how we relate, patterns that repeat, and what is happening for you now — and we stay with what actually fits you.

You don’t need to understand the theory before we begin. My training is an MSc in integrative counselling and psychotherapy, and I’m a BACP Registered Member.
